Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said Odisha will soon become the epitome of industrial development that no one ever imagined. The Prime Minister said Odisha is the land of new aspiration, opportunity, and optimism that will lead all investors and industrialists to reach the pinnacle of success, and he has come to Odisha to give a guarantee for this, and it is ‘Modi’s Guarantee’. Inaugurating the ‘Utkarsh Odisha, Make in Odisha Conclave-2025’ at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar this morning, the Prime Minister said Odisha has always been a priority for him, as he had visited about 30 times since becoming the Prime Minister of the country. He said the role of Odisha in making India the third largest economy in the world is very significant. Mr. Modi said he has faith in the capacity of Odisha and its people to make the state one of the fastest-growing economies among all the states.

The Prime Minister also called upon the investors and industrialists to support MSMEs, startups by youths, and research and innovation activities in Odisha, and his government will provide all support to them. Chief Minister of Odisha Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Aswini Baishnaw, and several other dignitaries remained present at the inaugural function.

Odisha hopes to attract investment exceeding 5 lakh crore rupees, with job creation projected to increase by 3.5 lakh after the two-day-long conclave in which about 100 MoUs are likely to be signed between the Odisha state government and investors. More than 7,000 delegates, including envoys, investors, and industrialists from India and 12 other countries, have been participating in the business conclave.
