In Tennis, India’s Rohan Bopanna and his Czech partner Adam Pavlásek have advanced to the third round of the prestigious French Open, also known as Roland Garros.
The Indian-Czech duo defeated home favourites Fabien Reboul and Sadio Doumbia in the second round of the Men’s Doubles. After narrowly losing the first set 6-7, Bopanna and Pavlásek made a strong comeback to win the next two sets 7-6, 6-2. They will next face the second seeds, Henry Patten of the United Kingdom and Harri Heliövaara of Finland, tomorrow.
