Pant had managed to come out of his car on time as his high-end car rammed into a road barrier and caught fire on the Delhi-Dehradun highway.
He sustained a ligament injury in his right knee and cuts above his forehead.
Due to his recovery process, Pant, who was a regular cricketer in Team India, missed a lot of cricket matches.
Pant, who plays for Delhi Capitals in IPL, returns to cricket just months ahead of the T20 World Cup, which will be played in June.
