The first poster of the movie featuring Mescal was released by makers on Tuesday where the lead actor could be seen dressed as a gladiator and gearing up for a battle in the arena.
The original Gladiator was released over two decades ago in 2000 and took the theatre by storm.
It featured Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix, Connie Nielsen, Tomas Arana, Ralf Mller, Oliver Reed, Djimon Hounsou, Derek Jacobi, John Shrapnel, Richard Harris, and Tommy Flanagan.
