New Delhli :Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed relief after his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida survived an explosion during a campaign and reiterated that India denounces all acts of violence.

Kishida was taken away safe on Saturday when an unidentified person lobbed an explosive device at a campaign event in a western port city, officials said.
According to reports, security officials managed to nab the suspect and tackled him to the ground while screaming people ran for safety as smoke filled the area.
