The 21-year-old forward has signed a five-year contract that will keep him at the Santiago Bernabeu until June 30, 2031, marking another significant move in Madrid’s active summer transfer window.
Real Madrid confirmed the transfer through an official club statement, announcing that an agreement had been reached with Levante for Espi’s services. The club highlighted the striker’s rapid development and impressive performances over the past three seasons, during which he established himself as one of the brightest young forwards in Spanish football.
Espi made 66 appearances for Levante across three seasons, scoring 20 goals and steadily improving with each campaign. His breakthrough came last season when he netted 13 goals in just 27 matches, playing a crucial role in helping Levante avoid relegation from the Spanish top flight. His outstanding displays earned him recognition as the league’s Best Under-23 Player, further increasing interest from several top clubs across Europe.
The young striker had reportedly attracted attention from Villarreal as well as multiple Premier League clubs. However, Real Madrid moved quickly to secure his signature, convincing the highly rated attacker to continue his development at one of the world’s biggest football clubs. Levante had even kept Espi out of their preseason friendlies to reduce the risk of injury while transfer negotiations progressed.

Revenue increased by 3.1 percent compared to the previous season, driven by higher earnings from the renovated Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and growing commercial partnerships.
The club also reported a pre-tax profit of €26.3 million, extending an extraordinary run of 26 consecutive years of profitability. Additionally, Real Madrid recorded net assets of €624 million, cash reserves of €83 million and net debt of only €9 million, excluding financing related to the Bernabeu redevelopment project, which has now reached a total investment of €1.407 billion.
