Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee and Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda offered prayers at New Delhi’s Lakshminarayan (Birla) Temple to mark 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government. BJP leaders across India organized special rituals, seeking blessings for Modi’s health, longevity, leadership, and India’s continued development and prosperity.
Marking the successful completion of 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and supporters across the country organized special prayers and religious observances on Wednesday, celebrating what party leaders described as a historic milestone in India’s political journey.
At the revered Lakshminarayan Temple, popularly known as Birla Mandir in New Delhi, Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee joined Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda in offering prayers to commemorate the occasion. The leaders participated in traditional rituals and sought divine blessings for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s continued good health, long life, and unwavering commitment to nation-building.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajib Bhattacharjee said the completion of 12 years of the Modi government represents a significant chapter in India’s democratic history. He described Prime Minister Modi as a leader who has consistently worked towards transforming India into a developed and self-reliant nation.
“Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has witnessed remarkable progress in infrastructure, economic development, welfare initiatives, and social empowerment. His dedication to serving the nation continues to inspire millions of citizens,” Bhattacharjee stated.
In a message shared following the prayer ceremony, the Rajya Sabha MP said he prayed for the Prime Minister to receive strength, inspiration, and excellent health to continue serving the nation. He also prayed for India’s progress, prosperity, unity, and peace, describing the occasion as both historic and spiritually significant.
The celebrations were not limited to the national capital. Across several states, BJP leaders and workers organized prayer meetings, temple visits, and religious ceremonies to mark the landmark achievement of the Modi government.
In Tripura, Pradesh BJP President and MLA Abhishek Debroy participated in special rituals at the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur. During the ceremony, prayers were offered for the Prime Minister’s well-being and for the continued advancement of the country under his leadership.
Similarly, Social Welfare and Social Education Minister Tinku Roy attended a special prayer gathering at the Indranagar Kalibari Temple, where devotees sought blessings for Modi’s health, longevity, and continued success in serving the nation.
Debroy highlighted the guiding principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,” emphasizing that the Modi government has focused on inclusive development and national progress. He expressed confidence that India would continue its journey toward greater prosperity and global recognition.
At the Raksha Kali Temple near Tripura University in Suryamaninagar, BJP workers organized another prayer event attended by Deputy Speaker and MLA Ram Prasad Paul, Dukli Block Chairman Bhulan Saha, and several party leaders. Participants offered prayers and reflected on the government’s achievements in various sectors, including infrastructure, social welfare, healthcare, and economic growth.
Meanwhile, in Bishalgarh, BJP leaders and supporters gathered at the Jagannath Jiu Temple, where MLA Sushanta Deb joined devotees in chanting Vedic hymns and participating in religious rituals. The gathering prayed for Prime Minister Modi’s continued leadership and for India’s sustained development.
Addressing the devotees, Sushanta Deb remarked that India is rapidly progressing toward self-reliance and comprehensive development under Modi’s leadership. He noted that the Prime Minister’s vision has strengthened India’s standing on the global stage while improving opportunities and welfare for citizens across the country.
