Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman met Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs, Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, in New Delhi today. In a social media post the Finance Ministry said that during the meeting two ministers reiterated their commitment to strengthening bilateral trade and investment ties under the strategic partnership between India and Qatar. During the discussions, Sitharaman highlighted the transformative measures undertaken by India over the past decade to attract foreign investments. The Qatari delegation expressed confidence in India’s economic growth and technological advancements, noting strong opportunities for investments in the country.
