Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that Public Sector Banks have made the recovery of written-off loans worth over two lakh 27 thousand crore rupees.
Replying in the Rajya Sabha today, the Finance Minister said, the recovery of written-off loans by the Public Sector Banks has gone up to the level of over 35 thousand crore rupees in the year 2022-23.
She stressed that defaulters do not escape from the consequences and that recovery of loans is an ongoing process.
