The government has adopted a holistic approach by actively engaging with the private sector to prepare for the 2028 Olympics.

In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya said that the government has been regularly interacting with corporate and public sector undertakings to contribute to the National Sports Development Fund (NSDF) as part of their CSR initiative.

Stating that contributions from corporates to the NSDF will be incentivized with tax benefits, the minister said that the funds raised through the NSDF will be utilized for providing international exposure and hiring world-class coaches.
