Excitement has been on top over the upcoming Hindi film Jee Le Zaraa which is based on a road trip by three women, to be played by Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, ever since the announcement was made by actor-director Farhan Akhtar in 2021.

Farhan announced his next directorial venture on the completion of 20 years of his Dil Chahta Hai, which showed an all-boys road trip.

Now a big update about the commencement of the films shooting is given by Reema Kagti, who has penned the script along with Farhan and Zoya Akhtar.

Speaking to The Indian Express, Reema said, We will start shooting by the end of the year. We are looking forward to it and are really excited.

Though the shooting was earlier planned to begin in 2022, the dates of the protagonists, who are one of the busiest actors, didnt match.

When Priyanka was asked by Pinkvilla about the shooting, she had said, I think everybody wants to know that. I dont know. I feel Alia, Katrina and I – all three of us are in the busiest phases of our lives, but I am hoping it happens next year. Thats the aim.
