President Droupadi Murmu today inaugurated Rashtrapati Niketan and Rashtrapati Tapovan in Dehradun. Both Rashtrapati Niketan and Tapovan will be open to the public from the 24th of this month. During her visit, the President also inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for several development projects at Rashtrapati Niketan. She also laid the foundation for the Rashtrapati Udyan, a garden to be developed over 132 acres, which is expected to be completed and dedicated to the public within a year. On the occasion, President Murmu also addressed students of the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities.
