Agartala, Nov 27: In line with the Tripura BJP’s statewide ‘Ghar Ghar BJP’ campaign, Union Minister for State, Pratima Bhoumik on Sunday led the campaign and attended a mega public gathering in Krishnapur under Teliamura Sub-division.

Addressing the gathering Bhoumik said that the vital services have improved in the state during BJP-IPFT rule.

She said, “During the last 25 years of Left Front rule, the entire state’s rationing system, drinking water system collapsed. The roads were in bad condition. Vital services in the suburbs have improved rapidly since the formation of the present BJP-IPFT coalition government”.

The MoS along with local MLA Dr. Atul Debbarma, the party leaders and other supporters of the mandal remained present to listen Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Maan- Ki- Baat” program at Chakmaghat Bazar in the morning.

Later, a public meeting was held at Chakmaghat Bazar after the event.

Bhoumik also highlighted various developmental projects of the state and central governments.

She stressed on high recruitment policies under BJP-led government, self-reliance of women and various other aspects.

 “Under the administrative system of the present government, starting from the rationing system, other government projects such as drinking water, old age allowance, roads, houses under Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme and other projects, people in every corner of the state are getting facilities”, she said.

Bhoumik further added, “During the previous Left Front government, there were many crimes including murder, sexual harassment, rape. After the establishment of the present government, it has reduced relatively much in this state”.

She claimed that the people of the state are safer today than left rule.
