It was Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan whose comment had triggered a rumour that his Bhediya co-star Kriti Sanon was dating south Indian superstar Prabhas.
It all started at a reality show when Varun suggested Kriti was dating Prabhas prompting the Bhediya actress to issue a clarification.
The entire speculation has once again been reignited following a remark by Prabhas during the trailer launch of Om Rauts Adipurush where the actor teamed up with Kriti.
When asked by a fan when he will get married, Prabhas said, Marriage? Someday, Ill get married in Tirupati only.
How did the rumour begin?
The rumour kickstarted after Varun said at a reality show, Kritis name is not here because her name is in someones heart. That man is not in Mumbai because right now he is shooting with Deepika Padukone.
Fans had started guessing Kriti having a romantic relationship with her upcoming film Adipurush co-actor Prabhas.
How did Kriti react to it?
Rubbishing the rumours, Kriti has put up a statement on Instagram which says, Its neither Pyaar, nor PR. Our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter lead to some Howl-arious rumours.
Before some portal announces my wedding date-let me burst your bubble. The rumours are absolutely baseless.
Later in an interview, Kriti said Varun wanted to start a rumour about her but she had no clue he would take a random name.
