Political parties accelerate campaigning for first phase of Gujarat polls

In Gujarat, campaigning for the first phase of assembly polls is going on in full swing. Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing a rally at Surendranagar in the Saurashtra region today, November 21.
In the first phase, voting will be held on 1 December for the 89 seats of Saurashtra, South Gujarat, and Kutch.
Meanwhile, today is also the last day for the withdrawal of nominations for the second phase, polling for which will be held on 5th December.
AIR correspondent reports, all the political parties have accelerated their poll campaigning for the first phase of assembly polls. BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, union Home Minister Amit Shah are intensively campaigning for the party today. 
After addressing a rally at Surendranagar in the Saurashtra region, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address two more public meets at Jambusar and Navsari to reach out to the voters of South Gujarat today. Mr. Shah is also on a visit to Saurashtra and Kutch to address rallies at various places in Devbhoomi Dwaraka, Geer Somnath, Junagadh, and Kutch today. 
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is also in the state today to kickstart the party’s poll campaigning in the state. 
Gandhi will address two rallies one each in Surat and Rajkot.  
Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi party’s star campaigners Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Maan will intensively campaign today by holding road shows at various places in Saurashtra and south Gujarat.
