In a social media post, Mr Modi wrote that he was touched by the warm welcome from the Indian community in the UK. He added that their affection and passion towards India’s progress are truly heartening. Mr Modi also said the visit will go a long way in advancing the economic partnership between India and the UK with a focus on furthering prosperity, growth and boosting job creation for the Indian citizens. The Prime Minister also emphasised the need for a strong India-UK friendship for global progress.
