New Delhi/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accepted an invitation to inaugurate a Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi, the capital of United Arab Emirates (UAE), next year.
The invitation was extended to the Prime Minister by BAPS Swaminarayan Sansthas representatives Pujya Swami Ishwarcharandas and Swami Brahmaviharidas along with a board of directors.
Modi will inaugurate the temple on February 14, 2024.

Delighted by this gesture, Prime Minister Modi graciously accepted the invitation, expressing his enthusiastic support for the historic and iconic temple, a statement issued by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha reads.
In an almost one-hour meeting between Modi and the organisation representatives, discussions revolved around Abu Dhabi temples significance for global harmony and Modis vision for Indias spiritual leadership on the global stage.

The statement further reads, The BAPS delegation prayed for the Prime Ministers health and acknowledged his exceptional global achievements, notably strengthening relationships with the UAE and other Middle Eastern countries.
They also discussed the pride and inspiration Modis leadership has instilled in Indians worldwide.
Reportedly, the particular Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi will be the largest.
Reacting to the invitation, the Prime Minister, as claimed by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, said it will reflect the ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.

The statement reads, It will reflect the ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – an ideal spiritual space, not merely rooted in beliefs and traditions, but a confluence of diverse cultures and civilizations.
