Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate much-awaited train services to Kashmir tomorrow from the holy town of Katra, the base camp of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, after which the Vande Bharat train will start running between Katra and Baramulla. The high-tech Vande Bharat Express train will enable direct connectivity from Jammu to Srinagar by rail for the first time. The PM will travel from Chenab Railway Bridge to Katra in a train during which he will inaugurate and inspect the world’s highest railway bridge as well as the Anji Khad cable-stayed bridge, which has become an engineering marvel and is being talked about across the country
