New Delhi/UNI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram on their 37th statehood day on Monday.
Both Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram got the status of state from Union Territory on Feb 20, 1987.
Calling Arunachal Pradesh, a state synonymous with dynamism and patriotism, Modi lauded the people from the state for contributing to Indias progress in many sectors.

Meanwhile, President Droupadi Murmu will attend the 37th statehood day celebration in Arunachal Pradesh on Monday.
She will also attend a reception to be hosted in her honour by the State government.
As per the official statement, the President will address the special session of Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly at Itanagar on Tuesday.
