Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed 51,000 appointment letters to new recruits in government departments, today, at 11 a.m. as part of the 16th Rozgar Mela, which aims to create employment. He also addressed the new appointees via video conferencing.
The 16th Rogaar Mela was organised today in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aspirations to achieve social development by providing employment to the youth. Appointment letters were provided in 47 locations across the country.
Launched in October 2022, 15 of these Rozgar Melas have been held so far, and around one million people have been provided with appointment letters for various jobs under the Central government.
74 youths have been selected for government jobs in various Central government departments under Guntur Railway Division. Guntur Divisional Railway Manager Sudheshna Sen handed over the appointment letters at the Rozgar Mela held at Rail Mahal in Guntur city.
In another programme Rozgar Mela held in Guntakal, Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Steel Bupathiraju Srinivas Verma said that youth are the backbone of the country. He participated in a programme organised in Guntakal as part of the Rozgar Mela program held across the country today, along with Guntakal Railway DRM Chandrashekhar Gupta and Anantapur District BJP President Rajesh.
After the Prime Minister’s address to the young people virtually, the Union Minister of State handed over appointment letters to the newly selected youth who got jobs in various Central government departments, as part of Rozgar Mela.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Central Government has introduced the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Rozgar Mela with the aim of providing employment to the youth. He said that today, around 51,000 young women and men across the country have got jobs in various departments through this programme.
