Prime Minister Narendra Modi today had a telephonic conversation with the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen. In a social media post, Mr Modi said that both nations have reaffirmed their strong commitment to strengthening the Green Strategic Partnership and to an early conclusion of the India-EU Free Trade Agreement. He also mentioned that the two countries have shared mutual interests in bringing an early end to the conflict in Ukraine. The Prime Minister also extended his wishes for Denmark’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
