Indias Olympic icon Neeraj Chopra added one more feather to his golden crown by winning the medal at the World Athletics Championships in the mens javelin event in Budapest.

Chopra ensured Indians woke up with a smile on their face as he hit a winning 88.17m mark in the second attempt.

In a battle with arch-rival Pakistan, Chopra defeated his competitor Arshad Nadeem who threw 87.82m in the clash.

He is currently the first Indian athlete to win a gold medal at the World Athletics Championship.
