Actress Ankita Lokhande, who had won hearts with her performance in Pavitra Rishta, on Sunday marked the completion of 15 years of the TV show.
The series also marked her debut in the Indian serial industry.
The actress not only made her debut with the show but also won hearts across the nation by portraying the loved character.
She wrote on Instagram: Its not just 15 years of Archana, its also 15 years of Archana and Manav, a couple who personified love, marriage, understanding and companionship.
She praised late actor Sushant Singh Rajput who was a part of the show and further said: Theyre perfect.
She said the characters taught her the meaning of perfect marriage.
I bet theres no on-screen couple as real, sweet and iconic as Archana and Manav, and most of its credit goes to the audience who showered so much love on us, she said.
Thanking Ekta Kapoor for selecting her, she said: And of course, we could create that magic because of Ekta maams trust in us. Manav completed Archana. He was, is and always will be remembered whenever Archana will be mentioned because their Pavitra Rishta was as pure as my pavitra rishta with you all! Without his guidance, I wouldnt have become what I am today.
She said the success of the show was not possible without Sushant and his contribution.
Without Manav, theres no Archana. As much as its my celebration, its his too. We are proud of what youve achieved and the acting prowess youve shown, she said.
