Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has expressed displeasure over the continuous uproar by the opposition parties in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. Speaking to the media at the Parliament House complex today, Mr. Rijiju said, this is the third week of the Monsoon Session, but not a single bill has been passed so far. He said, a statutory resolution for the extension of President’s rule in Manipur was passed in the Lok Sabha and it is still pending in the Rajya Sabha for approval. He urged the opposition parties to cooperate and allow the House to function.
Speaking about the NDA Parliamentary party meeting held in New Delhi today, the Minister said, a resolution was passed on the success of Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev during the meeting. He said all MPs congratulated the country’s armed forces for their valour.
