High on momentum, Indian para-athletes are eyeing their chances in various events including shooting, archery, and athletics.on day six  of the 2024 Paris Paralympics.

In Para-shooting, Mona Agarwal and Avani Lekhara will participate in the final round of women’s 50 meter rifle 3 positions SH1 shooting event. In Para-archery, Archer Pooja will feature in the women’s recurve event. In Para-athletics, India’s Bhagyashri finishes in fifth with a best throw of 7.28m in the women’s shot put F34 final.

Deepthi Jeenanji will feature in the women’s 400m T20 final event. In the meantime, Mariyappan Thangavavelu, Sharad Kumar and Shailesh Kumar will compete in the men’s high jump T63 final round. Ajeet Singh, Rinku and Sundar Singh will also go for men’s Javelin throw F46 final.

India is at 15th spot in medal tally with 15 medals including three golds.
