Northern Railways CPRO, Himanshu Shekhar, said that more than 20 trains have been operated today for the convenience of Maha Kumbh devotees in Prayagraj.
Talking to media in New Delhi, Mr Shekhar said that all 8 stations in Prayagraj are fully equipped for the convenience of travellers. He added that CCTV cameras are being used to monitor the movement of visitors, and a control centre has been set up at the railway stations.
Mr Shekhar also highlighted that more than 300 trains operated to and from Prayagraj for the convenience of Maha Kumbh devotees yesterday. He urged the people to not pay attention to the rumours relating to train cancellations.
