Opposition’s Grand Alliance Holds Meeting in Patna to Discuss Seat-Sharing Ahead of Elections

In Bihar, a meeting of the constituent parties of the opposition Grand Alliance regarding the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly elections was held today at the residence of Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav in Patna. RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav chaired the meeting of the Grand Alliance Coordination Committee.
 
 
 
Mr. Yadav is also the chairman of the coordination committee formed to discuss and finalize seat-sharing and other issues among the six party Grand Alliance members. After the meeting, Mr. Yadav stated that the discussions primarily focused on seat-sharing among the constituent parties. 
 
 
 
Another constituent of the alliance, Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) Chief Mukesh Sahni said that along with the coordination committee, meetings of all sub-committees were also held. He added that the meeting discussed strategies for the elections. The meeting was alos attended by Bihar State Congress Committee (BPCC) President Rajesh Kumar, Bihar Congress in-charge Krishna Allavaru and senior leaders of the Left parties.
