In an attempt to make Tripura a favoured tourist destination, several new and exciting additions were of late made, especially in Damboor area which included adventure sports , para gliding , water scooty etc.
Now the Tourism Corporation has come up with most lucrative of all, and most exciting of all—Houseboat a la Aleppy in Kerala. The introduction of Houseboat with all facilities and luxuries is certainly going to attract hundreds of tourists every day at picturesque vast Damboor lake. The lake due to its vastness and scenic beauty is considered to be the best place for Houseboat in which that the tourists will like to spend their day and night.
The Tripura Tourism Corporation in tweet said : Tripura Tourism is going to procure houseboats for Dumboor Lake. Correspondence has been done with Kerala Tourism and we are expecting to launch it in the beautiful blue waters of Dumboor . This will turn Dumboor into a high class destination and give employment opportunities…
Tourism Minister Pranajit Singha Roy in a tweet said :
“We are expecting to launch Houseboats in the blue waters of Dumboor. Dumboor will be world class destination for tourists and provide employment opportunities to the local youths.
Under the leadership of CM Shri Biplab Kumar Deb we are constantly working to upgrade the tourist places of Tripura. We look forward for everyone’s kind cooperation and support to make Tripura favourite destination for toursists”
