Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L Murugan said that North East has made tremendous progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Talking to newspersons in Guwahati today, Mr. Murugan said that the Prime Minister has also given priority to development of this region.
The Union minister who is in visit to Chirang district in Assam said that he would oversee and review the various development activities in the district. Mr Murugan during his visit is also to review the activities of Information and Broadcasting ministry in Guwahati with the senior officials. Today, senior officials of the ministry received him at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoli airport in Guwahati upon his arrival.
