In a political development, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is set to take oath as a member of the Rajya Sabha on Friday, marking the beginning of a major leadership transition in the state. “I have accomplished a lot of work in Bihar. Now I felt that I should remain here, and that is what I am doing,” Kumar stated, indicating a shift in his political focus to the national stage. Meanwhile, Vijay Kumar Choudhary emphasized that the NDA remains united and committed to continuing the governance framework established under Nitish Kumar. He highlighted that the “Nitish Model” has delivered substantial progress in infrastructure, education, and law enforcement in Bihar over the past years.
Following his Rajya Sabha oath, Nitish Kumar is expected to attend a high-level meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi. The meeting is anticipated to play a crucial role in determining the future political roadmap for Bihar.
