NITI Aayog Member Dr. V. K. Paul today inaugurated the ‘National Consultation on Legal Environment Assessment for One Health Activities in India’ in the presence of Health and Welfare Ministry Secretary Apurva Chandra in New Delhi.
The two-day workshop aims to discuss several issues including assess the current legal framework on Identify strengths, gaps, and overlaps in the existing laws and regulations that impact One Health activities. Ministry of Law and Justice Secretary Dr. Rajiv Mani, Ministry of Environmental, Forest and Climate Change Secretary Leena Nandan, UNDP India Representative Isabelle Tschan and other stakeholders are also attending the workshop.
