NHRC issues notice to Haryana DGP over alleged murder of journalist –

The National Human Rights Commission-NHRC has issued a notice to the Haryana Director General of Police over the alleged murder of a journalist in Jhajjar district of Haryana. In this matter, the commission has also sought a detailed report, including the status of the investigation, within two weeks. NHRC took suo motu cognisance of media reports related to the incident.
