Newlywed couple among 5 dead, 7 injured in head-on collision –

In Rajasthan, five people died in a horrific road accident at Jamwaramgarh near Jaipur this morning. Seven other persons were injured in this accident, of whom four are seriously injured. The incident occurred due to a head-on collision between a container and a car in Bhat ka Bas village of Raisar police station area on Dausa-Manoharpur Highway 148. The newlywed bride and groom and their family members were in the car and died on the spot. They were returning from Madhya Pradesh. On receiving the news of the accident, there was mourning in both families. Raisar police have sent the injured to a private hospital near Jaipur.
