Prime Minister of New Zealand Christopher Luxon arrived in New Delhi this afternoon on a five day visit to India. He is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Ministers, senior officials, businesses, media and members of the Indian diaspora community. Prime Minister Luxon was received by Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Prof. SP Singh Baghel at the airport.
External Affairs Ministry said in a statement that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold talks with his New Zealand counterpart tomorrow, covering various aspects of India-New Zealand relations. Mr Luxon will attend the inaugural session of the 10th Raisina Dialogue-2025 as the Chief Guest and deliver the Keynote Address. He will also call on President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Prime Minister Luxon will also visit Mumbai where he will have interactions with business leaders. This visit of the Prime Minister of New Zealand aims to strengthen the bilateral relationship between both the countries, reaffirming their commitment to deepen ties across all sectors and foster people-to-people connections.
