The meeting of the House of Representatives of Nepal, under the Federal Parliament, is scheduled for 1:00 pm today. The Opposition parties have been regularly obstructing the House, raising issues related to the visit visa scam, making Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak answerable.
The scheduled meetings of the Lower House have been postponed without entering the regular agenda since the 27th of May. Despite several rounds of discussion among the political parties for consensus, nothing concrete has been yielded to avert the prolonged parliamentary deadlock.
In today’s meeting, proposals for ‘The annual estimates of revenue and expenditure for the fiscal year 2082/83 have to be discussed, and the report of the ‘Federal Civil Service Bill, 2082 has to be presented.
