Saini and Modi, the supreme leader of the BJP, are expected to have discussed the government formation in the state.

In Haryana, the BJP proved all exit polls wrong winning 48 out of 90 seats while the Congress improved its tally from previous elections but stopped at 37 seats leaving 3 seats for Independents and 2 seats for INLD.

The Congress, which seemed confident to end the BJP rule in the state, refused to accept the mandate accusing the manipulation in the system and also reached out to the Election Commission of India with complaints.

Congress spokesperson Jairam Ramesh had said, The result is unexpected, surprising and we cant accept it because its the defeat of democracy and victory of the system.
