Nation celebrates Doctors’ Day, Chartered Accountants’ Day; PM Modi calls them pillars of society –

The nation is celebrating Doctors’ Day and Chartered Accountants’ Day today, honouring the contribution of two important professions.
 
Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted all hardworking doctors and chartered accountants on the occasion. In a social media post, the Prime Minister said that doctors are the true protectors of health and pillars of humanity. He added that their contribution to strengthening India’s healthcare infrastructure is truly exceptional.
 
In another post, Mr. Modi said that by promoting compliance and transparency, chartered accountants contribute to a healthy economy. He said their role in nurturing successful corporations is also outstanding.
 
In his Mann Ki Baat on Akashvani this Sunday, the Prime Minister said both doctors and chartered accountants are pillars of society who help make our lives better.
