The fifth edition of the Brillante Piano Festival is set to take place in Bengaluru on September 28 and 29. Festival Director Khyochano TCK announced that, for the first time since its inception in 2017, the festival is relocating from Nagaland to South India, marking its debut outside the state. She said this year’s festival will feature a series of programs and include an exclusive event for the Specially-Abled Musicians (SAM) program, with participants from across India.

Initially featuring three competition categories, the festival now includes music production, prodigy contests, and a ‘Fastest Fingers’ event called Flying Ninja. It will also offer workshops, panel discussions, masterclasses, evening concerts, showcases, and booths for exhibitions, brand displays, and the ‘Naga Experience.

The Director said, a 60-member group from Nagaland including specially-abled musicians will attend the upcoming festival.

Participants from 18 countries, including the Netherlands, Korea, France, and Australia, will perform. The festival will also feature representatives from 16 Indian states including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab and Delhi.
