Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio has welcomed the rollout of the Next Gen GST Reform, announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In a social media post X, Nagaland’s Chief Minister expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for announcing the rollout of the Next Gen GST Reform, which comes into effect from today, introducing simplified tax slabs of 5% and 18%. Mr Rio emphasised that this reform will bring relief to families, boost growth, and strengthen self-reliance through Made in India initiatives.
