Agartala Nov 14: All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) MP to Lok Sabha Mahua Maitra, AITC president and MP Kakali Ghosh Dastidar and youth leader Sayantika  Banerjee will attend the party’s mega rally at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan in Agartala on Monday November 14.

TMC leader and State in-charge Rajib Banerjee and TMC MP Sushmita Dev informed the media on Sunday. They also alleged BJP is trying to prevent supporters from attending the rally. 

Earlier on Friday, announcing the rally Banerjee said that the party would show its strength on November 14 next through a mass gathering in Agartala.

Announcing the details of the programme in a press conference at the party state office in Agartala, he said,  the rally will start from Gandhighat here at 11am on Novermber 14 next, he added.

The party state in-charge said, “We will give a message in the rally that we would always stand by people of the state”.

The TMC MP informed media that the party has already prepared 40 block organizations in the state and women organizations in 12 organizational districts so far.

She said, “We have been working on the ground for the last one year to strengthen our organizational base in the state. The result of one year work will be reflected on November 14 through the mass rally against ruling BJP’s bad governance.”

Dev also announced that the party will soon announce the name of its new state president.
