Mumbai/IBNS: Monkey Man is the directorial debut of actor Dev Patel and also marks the Hollywood debut of actress Sobhita Dhulipala, who plays a pivotal role in the film, which has hit the theatres.

As Dev and Sobhita attended the Hollywood premiere of the film, the latter gave a huge shout out to the actor-turned director.

While Sobhita wears an off shoulder gown, Dev sports a suit for the premiere night.

The action-thriller, which is inspired by the legendary Hanuman, revolves around Dev Patel working in an underground fighter club where he wears a gorilla mask and sustains beating from other fighters for money, as shown in the trailer.
