In the Indian Super League (ISL) Football, Mohun Bagan Super Giant became the League Winners after their 1-nil victory over Odisha FC at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan Stadium in Kolkata last night.
The Mariners became the first team in the ISL to successfully defend their title of league winners. They moved to 52 points, gaining an unassailable lead over second-placed FC Goa. Dimitrios Petratos scored the only goal of the match for The Mariners in the added time and eventually sealed the game.
In the next match of the league, Bengaluru FC will face Chennaiyin FC in the South Indian derby at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru tomorrow evening.
