Most Asian stock market indices ended on a mixed note today. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index lost nearly 0.9 per cent, Singapore’s Straits Times Index dropped 0.4 per cent, and Japan’s Nikkei 225 dipped 0.2 per cent. However, China’s Shanghai Composite index remained unchanged, and South Korea’s Kospi index added 0.1 per cent. Major European indices were trading on a negative note today. France CAC 40 slipped 1.2 per cent, Germany’s DAX lost 1.1 per cent, and London’s FTSE 100 was trading 0.2 per cent down, when reports last came in.
