Tripura government went for an administrative reshuffle which followed the recent expansion of the council,
In the rejig Sonal Goel , Special Resident Commissioner to Tripura Bhavan, New Delhi. has now been brought in the state as special secretary to the Information and Cultural Affairs department.
Dr. Parshant Kumar Goyal (IAS), who was secretary to ICA has been made Secretary of Industries & Commerce department (excluding Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture and Information Technology), Information and Cultural Affairs, GA (C&C) with additional charge of Secretary to Chief Minister will also hold the charge of Industries and Commerce (Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture) Department, in addition. Dr. Goyal has been relieved from the charge of the Information and Cultural Affairs department.
According to the notification, C.K. Jamatia (IAS), secretary to Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Industries and Commerce (Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture) Departments has been relieved from the charge of Industries & Commerce (Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture) Department.
Tapas Roy (IAS), Secretary to Minorities and OBC Welfare Departments, will also hold the charge of General Administration (Secretariat Administration) Department, in addition.
Tushar Kanti Chakma, Secretary of General Administration (Secretariat Administration), General Administration (Political) and General Administration (Printing & Stationery) Departments with additional charge of Secretary to Governor, Tripura is relieved from the charge of General Administration (Secretariat Administration) Department.
Apurba Roy (IAS), Secretary to Planning (including Statistics), Finance and Home (Jail and Fire & Emergency Services) Departments has been relieved from the charge of the Finance Department.
Saradindu Choudhury (IAS), Secretary of Education (Youth Affairs & Sports), Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs and Home (Jail and Fire & Emergency Services) Departments, has been relieved from the charge of Home (Jail and Fire & Emergency Services) Department.
