Ministry of Social Justice Celebrates International Day of Older Persons 2025 in New Delhi

 
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment will celebrate the International Day of Older Persons 2025 in New Delhi today. The Ministry, in a statement, said that the programme will highlight the government’s commitment to create a dignified and enabling ecosystem for senior citizens, emphasising the theme of Ageing with Dignity. It will promote the holistic development of senior citizens through collaboration, innovation, and senior citizens-centric welfare programmes. 
 
 
During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between the Defence Ministry, Telecommunications Consultants India Limited and Birla Open Minds Foundation. Along with that, Naitik Patam-a game to promote inter-generational bonding-will also be launched.
