The ‘Mayer Gomon’ puja carnival on Thursday evening illuminated Agartala with the vibrant shade of Tripura’s culture. The event was a heartwarming display of joy, elation, and excitement that resonated among thousands of enthusiastic participants.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, along with other ministers and dignitaries, ceremoniously inaugurated the carnival with traditional rituals.
As the colourful procession set forth, the carnival site was inundated with a sea of people, and thousands of individuals warmly welcomed the participating clubs along the route, spanning from Post Office Chowmuhani to Battala.
The Information and Cultural Affairs department, in collaboration with several other departments, orchestrated this grand spectacle, earning the admiration of many for their impeccable management.
The event catered to people of all age groups, with the youth revelling in the festivities while others didn’t miss out on the opportunity to partake in the joyous moments.
