The event, which spanned 15 consecutive days, marked one of the most extensively planned and widely attended military recruitment exercises in the Northeastern region in recent years.
According to a senior official of the Indian Army, the rally was organized and executed by the 113 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) — Rajput, which concluded its operations on Saturday. The official described the initiative as “one of the most meticulously coordinated, flawlessly executed and professionally administered recruitment efforts ever undertaken in the Northeast.”
Record-Breaking Participation From Across the Region
Candidates arrived from all seven Northeastern states, alongside participants from West Bengal, Sikkim and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, underscoring the Territorial Army’s widening appeal among young people across diverse geographies. From managing thousands of candidates daily to conducting multiple layers of physical, medical and documentation assessments, the unit maintained a standard of fairness, transparency and discipline throughout the event. “The ability of the unit to seamlessly handle such large footfall across numerous testing stations, over two full weeks, highlights an organisational capability of the highest order,” the senior official said.

The rally’s success was significantly strengthened by the cooperation of the Dimapur district administration and police authorities, who worked in close coordination with Army personnel to ensure a smooth and secure environment.
