Kolkata/IBNS: The body of former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, who passed away at the age of 80 on Thursday (Aug 8, 2024), was taken to Peace World mortuary as his tearful wife Meera Bhattacharjee and son Suchetan accompanied the hearse. He will be kept at CPI-M party headquarters at Alimuddin Street from 10:30 am on Friday for common people to pay their last respect. His mortal remains will be donated for research to NRS Medical College and Hospital.(Photo Courtesy: IBNS)
