Indian benchmark indices saw a muted start this morning as they opened flat to negative. The trend in GIFT Nifty suggested a muted start for the broader index. Nifty 50 index opened at 24,787.65 — down 0.02%, while the Sensex opened at 81,354.85 — down 0.01%.
Asian markets are mostly trading higher, while China keeps key lending rates steady. On the other hand, the US markets were shut yesterday on account of Juneteenth 2025 National Independence Day.
