New Delhi/IBNS: FMCG giant Nestle India Ltd on Monday (Oct. 7) announced that its Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Suresh Narayanan, will retire on July 31, 2025.
After a distinguished 26-year career with the Nestl Group, Mr. Suresh Narayanan, Chairman and Managing Director of Nestl India, will retire at the end of business on July 31, 2025, the company stated in a filing with the stock exchange.
Nestle Indias Swiss parent company Nestl S.A. has nominated Manish Tiwary to take over as Managing Director, effective August 1, 2025.
The company has received a nomination from Nestl S.A. for Mr. Manish Tiwary to be appointed as the Managing Director of Nestl India Ltd, starting August 1, 2025, the statement added.
Nestle India described Manish Tiwary as a seasoned business leader with nearly 30 years of experience in managing large-scale operations and spearheading strategic initiatives in both the e-commerce and consumer goods industries.
Before his current role, Manish Tiwary served as the Country Manager for Amazon India, a position he held after joining Amazon in 2016.
Prior to that, he spent two decades at Unilever, where he held various leadership roles in sales, marketing, and general management across different regions, including India, the Gulf, and North Africa.
Tiwary holds a B. Tech in Computer Science and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
Manish Tiwary currently serves as a director at Amazon Digital Services Private Limited and More Consumer Brands Private Limited. He will step down from these positions on October 30, 2024. He has no affiliations with any current directors of Nestl India Ltd, the company added.
As of 12 pm on Monday (Oct. 7), Nestle Indias shares were trading relatively unchanged at Rs 2,601.35 per share, according to reports.
